Right-hander Tyler Walker announced that he is out for season because of a torn labrum. He will go to Alabama this week to see Dr. James Andrews and get a second opinion.

The Nationals have decided that they will activate reliever Tyler Walker after the All-Star break. He is on the disabled because of shoulder soreness and was eligible to be activated Wednesday.
