Twins legend, Hall of Famer Killebrew dies

Harmon Killebrew, slugger supreme, Hall of Famer and civic treasure in the Twin Cities, died on Tuesday at age 74. He will stand with distinction because of achievement, friendly persuasion, unusual name and "Killer" nickname.

Nats land prized Ramos from Twins for Capps

The Nationals traded closer Matt Capps, the team's lone All-Star representative, and cash to the Twins for catcher Wilson Ramos and left-hander Joe Testa on Thursday.
