Nationals honor military service members

In their first home game since an Aug. 6 helicopter crash in Afghanistan that killed 30 American soldiers, the Nationals honored all service members throughout Tuesday's opener against the Reds at Nationals Park.

Nats, USO team up for military children

The Nationals and the USO of Metropolitan Washington have teamed up to give military kids the opportunity to enjoy a baseball game with their friends through the "Me and a Friend" program, which kicked off on Sunday at Nationals Park and will continue every Sunday throughout the rest of the season.
