Back-to-back homers too little, too late

The Nationals could not solve Arizona's starter for the second consecutive night, and their own starter again went a little too long in Wednesday's 4-2 loss in front of 17,881 at Nationals Park.

Nats hold off late rallies to even up series

It looked like Deja vu all over again on Friday night, as the Nationals leapt to an early lead before the Rockies rallied to tighten the game. But Washington rewrote the script after its series-opening loss, holding on to win, 5-3, and evening the four-game series.
