Nationals manager Davey Johnson decided to play Laynce Nix over Chris Marrero at first base on Friday, because Nix has better numbers against right-hander Tim Hudson.

Hudson, Braves face Nats in comfort of home

The Braves led the Major Leagues with 56 wins at home last season. This year, they are 10-9 at Turner Field and will be will looking to build on that record Tuesday against the Nationals in the first of eight straight games in their ballpark.
