Werth providing glimpse of return to form

Nationals right fielder Jayson Werth is showing signs of improvement at the plate. Entering Wednesday's action against the Cubs, Werth was 13-for-45 [.289] in his last 12 games.

Zimmerman in prime form against Yanks

Clippard seems to be regaining early form

There was a positive in the Nationals' shutout loss to the Marlins on Saturday night. Right-handed reliever Tyler Clippard, who has struggled recently, worked two perfect innings out of the bullpen, which pleased manager Jim Riggleman.
