The Nationals have promoted right-hander Orlando Hernandez from the Gulf Coast League Nationals to Double-A Harrisburg, while infielder Stephen Lombardozzi went from Class A Potomac to Harrisburg on Tuesday.

El Duque makes season debut in Minors

Right-hander Orlando Hernandez made his season debut for the Gulf Cost Nationals on Wednesday. He pitched an inning and allowed a run on two hits as they defeated the Marlins, 3-2.

Nats sign El Duque to Minors deal

The Nationals have signed right-hander Orlando Hernandez. to a Minor League deal, according to a baseball source. Hernandez is the half brother of Washington right-hander Livan Hernandez.
