AFL names Stenson Award nominees

Prospects Zack Cox (Cardinals), Koby Clemens (Astros), Kris Negron (Reds), Ryan Flaherty (Cubs), Cory Harrilchak (Braves) and Steve Lombardozzi (Nationals) were as nominees for the 2010 AFL Dernell Stenson Sportsmanship Award.

Harper named Golden Spikes Award winner

Bryce Harper was named the 2010 Golden Spikes Award winner. Since 1978, USA Baseball has honored the top amateur baseball player in the country with the Golden Spikes Award.

Strasburg's debut ends with NL POW Award

Debuting with an impressive 14 strikeout performance followed by a solid road win, Stephen Strasburg, won the NL player of the week award. Down in Texas, Josh Hamilton and Colby Lewis shared the AL honors.
