Morse, LaRoche out of game action for a week

Nationals outfielder Michael Morse and first baseman Adam LaRoche are not expected to play in a Major League Spring Training game for at least a week.

Nationals first baseman Adam LaRoche said Sunday that he is hoping to play his first spring game against the Cardinals on Wednesday at Space Coast Stadium.

Harper will see plenty of action this spring

Nationals right fielder Bryce Harper will start and hit third against Georgetown University on Friday at Space Coast Stadium. He is also expected to see action against the Astros the next day in Kissimmee, Fla.

Rotation set up to start game action

Nationals manager Davey Johnson said left-hander Matt Purke will start against Georgetown University on Friday, while right-hander Stephen Strasburg will get the nod on March 4 against the Astros at Space Coast Stadium.
