Werth back to business after day off

Nationals outfielder Jayson Werth, who didn't work out Tuesday because of lower back spasms, was allowed to take another day off Wednesday as a precaution. But, according to manager Davey Johnson, Werth decided to work instead. Werth was able to take batting practice without any problems.

DeRosa not having any problems with wrist

Full-squad workouts began Saturday, and infielder/outfielder Mark DeRosa hasn't had any problems with his left wrist, which has been surgically repaired more than once.

Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper decided to delete his Twitter account, @BHarp3407, recently. It comes a week after the Nationals had a team meeting about social media.

Clippard may be Nats' most valuable pitcher

Sometimes, it's hard for Tyler Clippard to believe what he accomplished last year. He doesn't realize how good he was until he hears it from Nationals fans.
