Adam Dunn cranked his third homer of the series and Livan Hernandez tossed six solid innings as the Nationals edged the Pirates, 4-2, for their first sweep of the season.

Nats sending Strasburg memorabilia to HOF

The Nationals are donating a Strasburg game-worn Nationals hat and a game ball from Tuesday's 5-2 victory over the Pirates to the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum at Cooperstown.

Wood tells Strasburg to enjoy big leagues

Twelve years ago, Kerry Wood was Stephen Strasburg. He was the rookie with the wicked fastball and back-breaking breaking ball, the 20-year-old kid who struck out 20 Astros batters without issuing a single walk in just his fifth Major League start for the Cubs.

Nats, Dunn begin extension talks

While he is not close to an extension, first baseman Adam Dunn said the Nationals and his agent, Greg Genske, talked while the team was in Houston playing four-game series against the Astros last week.
